£195 Per Roll, £3.50 per sample, £68 / sqm scenic/mural Storm of Hero & Leander Before Romeo and Juliet, there was Hero and Leander. Let yourself be swept away by The Storm of Hero & Leander, a design inspired by one of the most enduring and tragic love stories of Greek mythology. Growing up with tales of Greek mythology, I have always been captivated by their ability to transcend time. They are stories of passion, magic, courage, obsession and adventure. Extraordinary tales that somehow continue to reflect the wonderfully complicated business of being human. Of them all, Hero and Leander have always held a particular fascination. The ancient myth tells of Hero, a priestess who lived in a tower beside the Hellespont, and Leander, a young man from across the water who fell desperately in love with her. Each night, guided by the light of Hero's lamp, Leander would swim across the treacherous waters to be with her. Until one night, the storm came. It is a story of forbidden love, hope and extraordinary determination, set against the uncontrollable power of the sea. The Storm of Hero & Leander captures that tension between human desire and forces far beyond our control. Waves become both obstacle and invitation; movement and fluidity echo the restless waters, while the design draws you into an imagined world where mythology and nature collide. There is romance here, but it is not a soft, uncomplicated romance. It is passionate, tempestuous and a little dangerous. The kind of love that makes people swim through darkness because the alternative is staying on the shore. Inspired by the drama and imagination of classical mythology, the design brings an otherworldly quality to contemporary interiors. Its sense of movement creates an immersive backdrop, transforming walls into something closer to a scene from an ancient epic than a conventional decorative pattern. Perfect for bathrooms, utility rooms and interiors that enjoy a little storytelling, The Storm of Hero & Leander invites you to lose yourself amongst the waves and imagine what might be waiting on the other side.
